SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 29, 2004 - Emulation Technology, Inc. (ET), the leader specializing in a wide range of products and services for the electronic development lab engineer, introduces ASAP Service for their BGA sockets, including those most popular with engineers: Compression Lock, Knob Lock and Screw Lock BGA sockets. ET's new ASAP Service allows the customer to choose how quickly he will receive his order by using 5-day, 7-day, or 10-day ASAP Service. The value of this service is multiplied by the fact that many of ET's adapters and custom adapters use the Screw Lock BGA Socket as part of their design, meaning quicker delivery times on custom projects.
"Four to five weeks is sometimes too long for an engineer to wait for a socket given the accelerated design schedules that exist in today’s market place," notes Joseph Bagliere, ET President. “Customers will receive their sockets faster with ET's ASAP Service, which also means the project can be completed on time, and that's critical in today’s market."
This program is ideal for engineers using BGA sockets for the following applications:
• Development/Bring Up Boards
• Debug (hand test)
• Programming/Test, Qualification and Production
