Emulation Technology has designed the industry's first Ball Grid Array
(BGA) emulator adapters. These adapters support the Motorola 68HC16Z1 16-bit microcrontroller in a BGA package. The chip is used in embedded applications. The emulator adapters connect the BGA pads from the 68HC16Z1 microcontroller to an emulator pod that has a quad flatpack socket footprint. Without these adapters, it is virtually impossible to gain access to the BGA pads on the target board. |
